What is Life Transition Coaching?

Our lives are filled with meaningful life transitions. We may plan for and welcome some changes in our lives but others may catch us unprepared and become a source of stress or fear.  Even in the best of cases, life transitions challenge us because they invite us to look deeply at our lives, to redefine our roles and reassess our goals for the future.

Whether we are about to start college, a new career, experiencing a loss or heading towards retirement, some questions we may ask ourselves in times of transition are:

Have I been living a life that is aligned with my values and vision?

Have I allowed my own desires, passions or creativity to go untapped?

Whose vision of my life am I living?

What do I want the next chapter to look like?

Along with the challenges of life transitions comes an enormous opportunity for growth, satisfaction and renewal.  By embracing change, we can put our past experiences, creativity and wisdom to work to redefine our priorities and design a more fulfilling life in line with our personal values and desires.

Transition coaching focuses on finding clarity through self-discovery, new possibilities, and creative exploration. I work with women making decisions about their future and the life they want to create. We look at where you are in your life at this moment, what goals and desires you have for the future and how to write a more meaningful and fulfilling plan for the next chapter in your life.

Some challenges that women often face in different stages of life are:

Early Adulthood

- choosing a course of study

- considering a graduate degree

- beginning a new career

- making a career change

- moving in or getting married

-starting a new family

- balancing work and home life

About Me

Coaching headshot.jpg

HELLO, While I have always had a passion for helping others, coaching women in life transition has special meaning for me.  I have, myself, written many different chapters in my life story from living as an ex-pat in Italy to starting my own business to becoming an empty-nester and moving back to the US where I earned my qualification as  a licensed social worker and therapist and completed training as a Professional Coach. I learned first-hand that the challenges that change can bring can often seem overwhelming and that having constant support through the transition can make all the difference.  My personal experience combined with my professional training have given me the insight and tools for providing that essential support to those curious, inquiring and resourceful women looking to explore the depths of their innate strengths, skills and wisdom to design a path toward a more fulfilling and joyful next chapter.
